This blog was originally created so that I can keep my friends and family up-to-date about my life in Germany. While preparing for my move to Germany, I stumbled upon lots of useful sites and blogs which helped in giving me a good start on knowing what to expect (or what not to expect) in Germany. I must really thank these kind souls for making these sites! It was then I decided I should create a blog of my own to document about my relocation to Germany and the life here, hoping this would help someone out.

I’m not expecting a lot of visitors to this blog since it is semi-private. I’m giving the link to this blog to my friends and family. The only way wanderers from the internet will find their way here is through searching thousands of hits from search engines. However, I do wish this little space of mine will be read by people who are planning to move to Germany or in particular, the Baden-Württemberg area.

About me

Just an average lady in her 20s from sunny island Singapore. After graduating from university with a degree in Chemical Engineering, she found a job with a global pharmaceutical company and was sent for an 18-month work training in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

She loves traveling, dogs, shopping and thrills such as skydiving, bungee jumping and roller coasters. One thing everyone knows is her deep penchant for FOOD! She loves eating good food from your back alley hideouts to street-side vendors and to posh restaurants. She also enjoys recreating dishes in her own kitchen. Sometimes, she fantasizes about being one of those hosts on Discovery Travel & Living where she can travel around the world, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, looking at different architectures, enjoying nature at it’s best, savouring different foods and get paid doing so!

Oh, did I mention she secretly thinks she’s the luckiest person on earth to have such wonderful family, friends, opportunities, Beauty, Cocoa and Geodude?
